An average day for Liam

Liam and Seamus went over Grandma & Grandpa McCourt's today. Liam and Seamus were going to help Grandpa get his garden ready for the summer. Liam would not stick with the work he was given. He would be out helping one minute, and then go inside. This repeated itself a couple of times. Liam finally went inside where he took a 2 hour nap. Seamus had a great time helping grandpa digging in the dirt.

Seamus and Liam got home around 4pm, right before I got home from work. Jill made dinner Liam seemed like he was in good spirits. We finished dinner and Liam was ready to go out right away before we could get cleaned up. I got stuck doing some work and was not able to help out as much and that slowed Jill down. The end result was Liam became very anxious and was getting upset because he just wanted to go outside. This again shows how when he wants to do something at his schedule and it's not, he gets upset.

Outside he seemed ok for a while, but as I came out he wanted to apple jacks to snack on. I got the apple jacks and took them over a neighbor's house where he was playing. As I approached Liam was having a meltdown over Jill not having suckers. He was insistent that she have them. As I approached I said I had "froot loops" on mistake and he got further upset. I tried to settle him down but he continued to cry and be upset. He eventually settled down, but he became very clingy to Jill and kept wanting her to hold him. Liam did not engage in any more play with the other kids.

One positive aspect Liam has shown (as well as Aidan) is with potty training. He and Aidan have each at numerous times throughout the day told Jill they had to go tinkle. Jill was quite surprised on each occasion that they actually did tinkle.

Seamus has soccer on Saturday and they are calling for thunderstorms. Hopefully it holds off and they are able to play. He first has to go to Olmsted Falls to have his team picture taken. We'll see how the day goes!
